  • We still continue to post many products to our online store. For example, we have most of our modern computers posted in the online store.

  • We don’t have enough resources to post everything to our online store. This means that some items are only available inside our thrift store. For example, computer parts will often be in-store items. We will also post some audio equipment to the audio section of the online store, but some will be only available in our thrift store. If you can’t find what you’re looking for in our online store, you can look for it in our physical thrift store!

Our goal is to provide affordable refurbished devices. If you need a used computer, or just a couple of cables, come see us at the Free Geek Twin Cities Thrift Store! Our thrift store has used computers, monitors, game systems, audio equipment, cables, and more!

STORE F.A.Q.

  • Do you have (insert product here) in stock?

    Many types of products are available for sale at our online store. Some products (computer parts, some cables etc.) are only available in-store. For in-store only products, please visit our store or call our store during normal business hours.

  • Can you place an item on hold so I could buy it later?

    We do not hold items that have not been purchased yet for any reason. We may hold large purchased items for a very limited time to allow customers to arrange for transportation.

  • Can you ship my purchase to me?

    We do not ship any items. You must pick them up at the store.

  • Does the store do trades?

    Sorry, we don’t perform any trades of equipment or hardware.

  • Will you accept a lower price for an item sold in-store or online?

    No, we do not negotiate on posted prices.

  • Do you offer technical support on products sold by Free Geek Twin Cities or my own computers?

    If your product was purchased through Free Geek Twin Cities and is defective we will try to fix it. Please see our store policies page for more information. We do not offer general tech support.
