How do I find Free Geek?
FGTC HQ is located at 2537 25th Ave. South, in the industrial section of the Seward neighborhood.
We operate out of the back side of our warehouse- going to our actual address will prompt a walk around the building :-)
The easiest way to find us is heading to the Memory Lanes Bowling Alley parking lot, at the intersection of 26th Ave S and E 26th St.
Our ‘Free Geek’ sign, garage door, and entrance are all on the west side of the Memory Lanes parking lot.
Transit Directions
BUS
Routes 7 & 9 have stops mere blocks from our warehouse!
9- Metro Transit #9 buses run along E 25th St just north of our location. Hop off at the intersection of 25th Ave S and E 25th St. near the Eagles 34, and walk a block south to our building.
7- Metro Transit #7 buses run parallel to 26th Ave S, stopping at the corner of 27th Ave S and E 26th St, near Common Ground Meditation Center. Walk a block west on 26th St, and you will see our sign.
LIGHT RAIL
We are a 15 minute walk away from the nearest Blue Line light rail station at Franklin Avenue.
If coming from the Green Line, transfer to the Blue Southbound at US Bank Stadium Station.
Walking from the Franklin station, follow Franklin > South on Minnehaha > West on 26th Avenue > Free Geek!
BICYCLE
From the Hiawatha-LRT Trail, take E 24th St exit past Coastal Seafoods, and follow Minnehaha to one of our cross streets. (E 25th St / E 26th St)
From West River Parkway, head West on E 25th St and turn South on 26th Ave S.
From the Midtown Greenway, head north on 26th Ave.
AUTOMOBILE
Free Geek is located just south of Interstate 94, and just east of Highway 55/ Hiawatha Ave.
From West 94:
Take Exit 235A for Riverside / 25th Ave.
Cross Riverside.
Take a left at 25th Ave and cross over 94.
Follow the curved road, cross Franklin. (You are now on 26th Ave)
Take 26th Ave South a few blocks.
At the northwest corner of 26th Ave S and E 26th St, you will find Free Geek.
From East 94:
Take Exit 235A for Riverside / 25th Ave.
Take a right at 25th Ave S.
Follow the curved road, cross Franklin. (You are now on 26th Ave)
Take 26th Ave South a few blocks.
At the northwest corner of 26th Ave S and E 26th St, you will find Free Geek.
From Highway 55/Hiawatha Ave:
Turn west on E 26th St.
( left turn if approaching from North, right if approaching from South)
Cross Minnehaha Ave.
Just before the stoplight at 26th Ave/26th St, turn left into the Free Geek parking lot.
